World Goth Fair 2

Location: DePaul University, College of Computing and Digital Media

DePaul CDM is an amazing place, full of things to explore. Train ride, bicycle ride, bungee jump, delta flying things and more There is also a kind of quest going on, but I didn't had time to explore this, maybe next weekend  ;-)

For now, lets get back to the main subject of this month, World Goth Fair. So far, in 3 days  more lindens were raised then last year fair, so big thanks to everyone that collaborate buying the donation items.

I don't know if you guys follow me on plurk or sl feed, if you do, you already know I was a goth girl once upon a time, and I had to give up the look to get an engineer job, but in the heart I still love my dark mood music, horror films and old architecture.

This means I really know how is to run away from skinheads, have people looking at you with stinky eyes just because your clothes.

For this very reason I wanted to blog about the World Goth Fair. 

World Goth Fair is an annual Second Life event, officially sanctioned by the folks at  World Goth Day to benefit the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.

Sophie Lancaster was beaten to death for two guys just because she was goth.

Following the horrific murder of Sophie Lancaster, her family wanted to ensure a lasting legacy to their beautiful, bright creative daughter and so The Sophie Lancaster Foundation was established and it became a registered charity in 2009.

So, now, you know why my mood will be so dark for the next posts, lets call the bats!

The WGF will be on two sims, Cursed (adult) and Port Seraphine (moderate), you can see where the stores are  on the blog.

Fantasy Faire 2013 - Meeros

Fantasy Faire is just around the corner, and Meeros will be there too, with all vendors donation 100% to RFL.

There will be starter packs, flowers, food and more, so if you are into breedables, Meeros can be a really great option.

They aren't the common breedables, there are an immersive background story and knowledge games on it. Plus, you can join fellowships to take care of your beloved pets.

Some Meeros are diurne, others are nocturne and they enjoy their ambience pretty much.

Fantasy Faire 2013 Preview - Kishi Creations and Musa

Location:  Annwan Willows

Continuing the FF13 previews, this time I present to you some RFL items from two stores that are new to me, Kishi Creations and Musa.

Kishi Creations made the Delusion Demon Set, in purple and blue (not show). it includes horns, hooves and tail.

Musa in the other hand created the pose and props used on this pictures, the first with veils and the second with the staff.

The Fantasy Faire starts at 20th and support Relay for Life, I hope to see you all there.

Fantasy Fair 2013 Preview - Plastik

I'm excited to show you some previews of Fantasy Fair 2013. The Faire will open officially at 6 AM on Saturday 20th.

The Fantasy Faire is the SL's largest gathering of fantasy designers, enthusiasts & performers.  A week of commerce, special events, music & fundraising over 10 sims for Relay for Life and the fight against cancer.

This dark elf is a creation of Aikea Rieko, and will be released on Fantasy Faire (FF).

This is an elf avatar, full of tattoo layers of options for face and body, plus it has matching ears and a bunch of different eyes to chose.

The amazing armor will be also released on the Faire.

I'm only showing one skin option and one armor option, but will be tons of color options.

Cherry Blosson

As soon as I put my feet at The Liaison Collaborative an image of cherry blossom appear in my mind and I used the sl search and I found this place.

Cherry Blosson is a sim divided in 4 parcels, and this one here is amazing, is the home of Queen Bee

This is a shape and skin store and is is just pretty! The info on land tells me this have an eternal spring.

Here you will find a small cafe, a kitty cats miniature museum and many pretty corners to take pictures.

Hello! Long time I didn't blog here, I've been blogging for Free*Style because I always read that blog and Sileny invited me to do it.

Actually I've been doing it for a while, I just forgot to tell you here ....oops.

Well.. this blog used to be about places  but lately  I'm not exploring places as much as I used to do, so beware that I may start to do some random posts in studio, I hope you guys stay with me.

So.. lets talk about things that are happen now! Skin Fair open the doors to public, and I went there and dig some new skin creators (at least for me), and Step Inside were one of those new faces that catch my attention. It suits me very well, and I love the red eyebrows :D

Other thing I forgot to tell you was about Free* Style Store, great stores set many items from 0-50 lindens there, you should take a look into it.

Soho Sample Sale at NYC

Soho Sample Sale will last until February 16th, until there, you have plenty of time to get the great deals and walk by New York City sim .

Zora - Cyber Punk City

Zora is a beautiful Cyberpunk sim, home of A&Y store, and a nice place to take pictures, sicne it allow rezz and run scripts.

This is not my usual look, but I kinda like it, plus, is kinda cheap.. so even better.

The skin is by Fake for SLFW, it came in 3 skintones and 4 different make ups just for 199L, ridiculously cheap!

The hair is the Alice Project prize for The Sinister Goth Sinner's Hunt. For this hunt, you must be a member of the group to get the item.

The dress is a Corvus item made for Soho Sample Sale, a nice themed event, that is almost in the end of this round.This nice dress is only 69L, so hurry up because soon the next round starts and you will miss amazing discounted items.

The boots are also for an event, L'accessories, and is almost in the end of this round... so.. yes, hurry up!

Walking around Soho

Hello! I've been wearing this outfit for weeks (thank God my pixels doesn't stink hehe), so I decided to share it with you ;-)

Many of you may know I'm a Brazilian woman, that lives in São Paulo, one of the biggest cities in the world.

Some New Yorkers that I meet here in Brazil told me they feel in home here in São Paulo, so I guess I would feel home there too...

When I were younger, I used to walk in my mini skirt, boots and earphone  in the downtown.. call me nostalgic, but I used to be almost like my av here in this pictures... this may be the reason to stick with this outfit for so long...

By the way, the location of this pictures is New York City, a place that I really like to take urban pictures that not have the decay feeling.

Room 326, Hoshi Island

MadPea Games organized an awesome interactive hunt, the starting point is the mysterious  Peacock Hotel.

You need to buy a hud to do this wide grid hunt. The prizes are amazing, but the fun is what really matters here. This is not an ordinary hunt, but you need to solve a mystery, find clues and have tons of fun while doing it.

Do you dare to enter Room 326 and discover the evil secrets it holds?

The Silent Peacock Hotel has been recently closed for an investigation after 15 people have disappeared from their premises. What the people have in common is that they all have spent a night in Room 326.

It's a mystery of how this could have happened since the door was locked and there were no signs of struggle or forced entry. All of the personal belongings of the guests have been untouched. The local police has been left clueless.

The players will take the role as private investigators to examine the evidence and search for the truth behind the disappearances."

Well, this hunt will end int eh end of the month and the sim will close to be rebuild to the next event, so hurry up if you want to see this amazing hotel.

IS WINTER AT LOL

I were checking some of my old posts and I realized that there is just one sim I blogged more then once, and this sim is LOL.

LOL is a place where the creativity blows from every corners by the hand of the talented and adorable Pallina Loon.

Even before meet her in SL profile feeds, I had blogged LOL twice. She is a great artist and a wonderful human being.

Right now she is working in ice sculptures at LOL, and no, I wont show you pictures of her work, because you need to see it in world, because none of my pictures would make it justice.
